Matt Cawley

Matt Cawley is the President of National Multifamily and has been in the commercial real estate brokerage industry for almost a decade. In that time, Matt personally closed over 70 transactions with an aggregate value in excess of $240 million. Cawley is a licensed professional in several states and has received extensive training as an investment sales agent of multifamily and mixed-use assets in New York and Connecticut. Matt and National Multifamily are additionally licensed in the states of Massachusetts, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Colorado, and Florida. Prior to National Multifamily, Matt was the head of the New York office for United Multi Family from 2014 to 2022. While at United Multi Family, Matt’s sales were highlighted by a 462 unit, 14 building portfolio in Bridgeport, Connecticut for $30.54 million and a 103 unit Ground Lease in Rye, New York for $17.15 million. Matt was additionally recognized by 914 Inc. Magazine as a top business professional under 30 in Westchester, New York in 2019. Matt was born and raised outside of Boston, Massachusetts. He received his BA in Economics at Middlebury College where he was also a 4-year member of the varsity football team. He currently lives in Rye, New York with his wife, Emily, and their two children: daughter, Ellie, and son, Jack.
